SLACK (Sysadmins' Lazy Auto-Configuration Kit) is
a configuration management system designed to
appeal to lazy system administrators. It's an
evolution from the fairly common practice of
putting files in some central directory. It's
descended from an earlier system called "subsets",
and uses a multi-stage rsync to fix some of the
problems in that system.
