Ein neues Skript, httpd-guardian, überwacht alle Web-Server-Zugriffe und schützt vor DoS-Attacken. (Dies ist nur der erste in der Reihe der Stateful-Features, die geplant sind.) Die Schwarze Liste Skript kann nun Befehle aus einer Datei zu lesen. Es ist daher möglich, sie als cron-Job berufen, um die Möglichkeit eines Web-Servers Laichen zu viele Prozesse als Reaktion auf die Angriffe zu reduzieren. Log-Analyse in LogScan wurde verbessert, um mit ungültigen HTTP-Requests zu arbeiten. Mehrere kleine Bugfixes wurden auch gemacht.

Major feature enhancements
A new script, httpd-guardian, monitors all Web
server requests and defends from DoS attacks.
(This is just the first of the series of stateful
features that are planned.) The blacklist script
can now read commands from a file. It is thus
possible to invoke it as a cron job in order to
reduce the possibility of a Web server spawning
too many processes in response to attacks. Log
parsing in logscan was improved to work with
invalid HTTP requests. Several small bugfixes were
also made.
