SigTranslator is a project able to translate IDS signatures
e.g. from Snort rules to Dragon rules and vice versa, as well
as the common signatures standard (CIDSS - Common
Intrusion Detection Signatures Standard).

Ein Debug-Möglichkeit wurde hinzugefügt. Eine neue Art von Sitzung Paketzähler und Session-Timeout wurde hinzugefügt. Ein Problem mit Parsen von Mustern, in denen nicht alle Muster waren korrekt extrahiert wurde behoben. Stateful sowie alle übersetzten Signaturen werden im Debug-Modus (Statistik) gezählt. CIDSS erforderlich Pattern_Type und Pattern_Content werden hinzugefügt, wenn sie fehlen in einer Snort-Signatur. Kleine Änderungen im Schreiben von Mitteilungen gemacht wurden.

Major feature enhancements
A debug ability was added. A new type of session
packet count and session timeout was added. A
problem with parsing patterns in which not all
patterns were correctly extracted was fixed.
Stateful and all translated signatures are counted
in debug mode (statistics). CIDSS required
Pattern_Type and Pattern_Content are added when
they are missing in a Snort signature. Small
changes in writing messages were made.
