JVOIPLIB is an object-oriented Voice-over-IP (VoIP) library, written in C++. Its purpose is to make it easy to set up and control VoIP sessions. The session's characteristics can be changed during a VoIP call.

The library now uses JThread 1.1.0 and jrtplib 3.x.x for RTP
support as defined in RFC 3550. The bug which made it seem
that 100% CPU time was being used in MS Windows is now
solved.
Mehrere Bugfixes wurden. Synchronisation zwischen den kommunizierenden Parteien wurde verbessert. Ein mu-law-Codierung Regelung, LPC-und GSM-Kompressions-Module und ein HRTF-basierten Lokalisierungs-System hinzugefügt wurden. Ein fortgeschrittenes Beispiel wurde hinzugefügt: die JVOIPLIB Testprogramm (sowohl für Qt und MFC).

Major feature enhancements
Several bugfixes were made. Synchronization between communicating parties was
improved. A mu-law encoding scheme, LPC and GSM compression modules, and a
HRTF-based localization scheme were added. A more advanced example has been
added: the JVOIPLIB Test Utility (both for Qt and MFC).
