Diese Version wurde auf Gtk + 2.0. Die Dateien werden nun gelesen und in einem komprimierten Format geschrieben. Diese Pressemitteilung enthält auch einige Bugfixes und Verbesserungen der Benutzeroberfläche (die Fenster-Position wird gespeichert, und die Linie und colomn Zahlen basieren auf der Statusleiste angezeigt).

Major feature enhancements
This release has been ported to Gtk+ 2.0. The files are now read and written in a compressed format. This release also contains some bugfixes and UI improvements (the window position is saved, and the line and colomn numbers are shown on the status bar).
Eine Win32-Port erstellt wurde. Ein paar UI-Verbesserungen vorgenommen. Gtklepin können nun eine Sicherungskopie beim Speichern einer Datei. Diese Pressemitteilung enthält auch die üblichen Bugfixes.
